Some Mama's get breakfast in bed... I got a fishing trip. If you know anything about me, you could probably guess that fishing isn't my favorite passtime. But the boys really wanted to go and the weather was perfect, so we headed to Mr. Wayne Moore's pond. This was Luke's first fishing trip and I think he will enjoy it as much as big brother and Daddy. I spent most of the time baiting hooks, and getting fish off of hooks. The latter, I had never done before, so I was kinda proud of myself. I have to admit it was alot of fun. You could actually throw a bare hook in the water and get a bite immediately. Trevor ended up cleaning 51 bream that night. It was a wonderful Mother's Day. Thank you, boys. Mama loves you.
Trevor and I have been blessed beyond measure with our two boys. We are thankful and humbled to be given the awesome responsibiliy of raising them into God fearing men. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Pr. 22:6. Please pray that we train them accordingly as we journey through parenthood. Lane is four now and has very naturally taken on his big brother role. He watches out for Luke, which is really helpful. Throughout the day I hear, "Mama, Luke's on the table, in the trash can, in your closet", or "Luke took his diaper off", etc. Spare time these days is rare, but they're so much fun. We hope everyone enjoys seeing the boys and we'll try to keep it updated frequently.
