Trevor and I have been blessed beyond measure with our two boys. We are thankful and humbled to be given the awesome responsibiliy of raising them into God fearing men. "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Pr. 22:6. Please pray that we train them accordingly as we journey through parenthood. Lane is four now and has very naturally taken on his big brother role. He watches out for Luke, which is really helpful. Throughout the day I hear, "Mama, Luke's on the table, in the trash can, in your closet", or "Luke took his diaper off", etc. Spare time these days is rare, but they're so much fun. We hope everyone enjoys seeing the boys and we'll try to keep it updated frequently.

Play Ball!

Besides tractors, baseball is one of Lane's favorite pass times. He hasn't decided if he wants to be a right or left handed hitter though. It doesn't matter to me, as long as he's hitting the ball and not his brother. He wouldn't do that on purpose, of course. It's just that Luke doesn't understand to get out of the way, and Lane gets a little impatient. We're deffinitely looking forward to little league.

Lane is finding that having a little brother can be very convenient.

Bed Time

Lane wanted me to take his picture in these cute pajamas last night. Luke didn't want to have anything to do with bedtime. He just wanted to ride the horsey.

Corn on the Cob

I never dreamed of giving Luke the actual corn cob. I cut the kernels onto his plate but he insisted on having the cob. I guess from watching us he knew exactly what to do. He ate the whole thing.

Finger Paint

This was our first experience with finger paint. Luke crawled through the artwork which he found to be very slippery. I think they had more fun playing with the water hose.

Playdough Fun

We made a new batch of playdough a few weeks ago. Lane likes to add the food coloring.
What little boy can resist mixing all the colors together.

It is kind of pretty in an abstract sort of way.

Brights Eyes

"These are some really big shoes to fill."

This was at cousin Emily's birthday party.

A new farmer in town

Look who's driving now. Lane looks a little scared.

The Big Day!

Lane and Luke want to say thank you to everyone who made their birthday so special.

We couldn't cut the cake fast enough for Lane.

Luke didn't care much about opening presents. He was quite content with his plastic spoons.
This tractor woke Trevor and me up at 5:30 the next morning. Lane just couldn't wait to play with it again.
These are my sister's oldest three girls, Elley Brooke, Brenley and Sally. Aren't they just precious.

Lane enjoyed helping me make their birthday cakes.

These were taken back in August.

Watermelon Parade

Lane had so much fun watching the parade. This is the first parade that he really knew what was going on. He was hesitant to run after the candy at first, but got over it quickly.

Luke had a pretty good time too.

Twins?

I have a lot of people in the grocery store ask me if they are twins. Trevor and I can't see it. We don't think they could be more different.

Luke has a few inches to go before he catches brother, but he's gaining fast.

Cool hat.

Luke gets really angry when he finishes eating. Trevor jokes that he'll have to get another job to feed him.
